Arrival and Departure

Please always remember to sign your child in and out, this is very important. Also let a staff member know when you arrive and when you are leaving.

Each child will develop their own routine for arrival. Some children like mum or dad to spend some time with them before they go, some need to be given a cuddle by staff while others run off to join friends as soon as they arrive. Find the routine to suit you and your child, however when you are leaving, communicate with your child to advise that you are going and then leave. Do not linger after you have said you are going, as this tends to make upset children. Let your child know who is picking them up and when.

Payment of fees

$ 60 part time (1 – 4 each day)
$245 full time (5 days - $49 each day)

Fees are charged on a fortnightly basis. We are unable to swap children’s booked days therefore, fees will be charged for booked days that the child does not attend due to illness, holiday, public holiday and RDO days.

A deposit of $100.00 is held as bond upon enrolment and will be refunded upon your child leaving the centre. If however, you decide not to enrol your child after paying your bond an administration fee of $20 will be charged.

Enrolment Procedure

Fill in the enrolment form and complete with the parent’s signatures. You will need to supply immunisation details for your child, where we will sight the original and photocopy for our records. You may also wish to apply to Centrelink for the Child Care Benefit Scheme, this will reduce your childcare weekly fee’s. You will then be required to pay the Bond as mentioned above

Childcare Benefit

CCB is calculated on your combined family income and this assessment is made through Centrelink. An application form can be obtained and lodged at your nearest Centrelink office or by telephoning 13 6150 for their assistance. Centrelink will send a letter to you explaining whether you are eligible to receive a benefit, including your percentage entitlement and your eligible hours per week. Until the centre receives this information, a standard formula is used to estimate your fee and is amended upon confirmation of your details.

Childcare Governing Body

The governing body for childcare services is the Department of Human Services.
Our local Department of Human Services is located at 71 Moreland Street, Footscray Ph: 1300 360 462
